May 13, 2022 – New York City, NY – The Black Announce welcomes NYC-based singer-songwriter/vocalist and Middle School teacher Victor Perry to the podcast. Mr. Perry has been instrumental in the students’ lives at his school by introducing them to professional wrestling. The club provides an outlet to express creativity. When asked how “The Wrestling Club” has impacted the lives of his students, Mr. Perry stated, “I’ve seen kids who have struggles; they’ve turned around behaviorally and academically so that they can participate in the club. It’s been a positive reinforcement,” he said. “I’m very strict when it comes to following directions, and my students need to have to meet their obligations before we can have fun. I create opportunities for them if they’re a part of the club.” Perry’s philosophy is that if he provides the incentives, his students must be willing to work hard. The club is geared to teach character, responsibility, and inspiration.
